• Account Information (Optional): If you choose to sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we collect the information you authorize these services to share, such as your name and email address. Sign-in is optional and only required for features like profile customization and cloud sync.
• Pet Photos: When you use our service, you upload photos of your pets. These photos are temporarily stored in Firebase Storage for processing and are automatically deleted after processing is complete.
• Generated Artwork: The AI-generated artwork created from your photos is stored so you can access your creations.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Identifiers: We generate and store an anonymous device identifier to track your free tier usage limits and provide app functionality without requiring account creation.
• Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App. This includes information about features used, session duration, and app performance.
• Device Information: We may collect information about your device, including device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and optimization purposes.

Information from Third Parties

• Advertising Data: If you view or interact with ads in the free tier, Google Mobile Ads may collect information as described in their privacy policy.
• Purchase Information: When you subscribe to TailorTail Pro through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the respective platform processes your payment. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
• Process your pet photos through our AI image generation service
• Manage your account and subscription status
• Track usage limits for free tier users
• Display relevant advertisements (free tier only)

TailorTail uses the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google)

Google Gemini AI

Your pet photos are processed using Google's Gemini AI to generate artwork. Images sent to Gemini are processed according to Google's AI terms of service and are not used to train AI models. Learn more at: ai.google.dev/terms

Google Mobile Ads

Free tier users may see advertisements served by Google Mobile Ads. Google may collect and use data as described in their advertising privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Apple & Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in, we use Apple Sign-In and/or Google Sign-In for authentication. These services are subject to their respective privacy policies.

App Store & Google Play

Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS
• Secure cloud infrastructure provided by Firebase
• Firebase App Check for device attestation to prevent abuse
• Automatic deletion of uploaded photos after processing
• Access controls limiting who can access user data

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

TailorTail is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
